This winter the golf course maintenance staff worked on improving several areas around the facility.  Trees were removed throughout the course to help improve air flow and give it a cleaner look. The most noticeable improvements were made to #5, 6, 7, 9, 12 & 13.  We also removed several dead trees and brush along the drive in to the club.  The areas where trees were removed will soon be over seeded to improve the turf quality.

Upon your return you will notice the addition of a few new bunkers.  We added a bunker to the end of #7 fairway on the left-hand side.  The bunker was built with intent to challenge players with a more demanding lay-up shot.  We also added a bunker to the right hand side of #11 green.

Last fall, we installed a new cart path running the entire length of # 6.  After being used in excess of over 20 years, this path in particular was showing a lot of wear.  A few trees were removed in this area to keep roots from cracking the new asphalt.  These off season improvements look great and will be completed soon.

Our number one goal is to make Wuskowhan a quality experience for all members and their guests.  We are looking forward to the 2019 season and hope you will come out to see these changes for yourself soon.  As always, please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.
